From a health perspective, the only real risks are it breaking or an MRI machine. Breaking isn't too much of a risk in my chosen placement (if the magnet is broken by force, I've got bigger issues), and an MRI is a consideration, but many people have made it through low Tesla MRIs with only a bit of discomfort.

Realistic worst case I get it removed before an MRI, but I appreciate your concern.
