Community guidelines for Discuo
Global Rules
  • Do not post anything that violates local or international law.
  • Do not post personally identifiable information (doxing).
  • Do not attempt to disrupt or degrade the platform's performance.
  • Do not impersonate moderators or administrators.
  • Do not attempt to evade bans or restrictions.
Content Rules
  • No spam or automated posting.
  • No commercial advertising or unauthorized promotions.
  • No gore, explicit violence, or disturbing content.
  • No explicit sexual content or nudity.
  • No harassment, hate speech, or targeted attacks.
  • No malicious files or links.
Discussion Guidelines
  • Stay on topic within category threads.
  • Do not intentionally derail discussions.
  • Avoid excessive cross-posting or thread flooding.
  • Do not bump threads without adding to the discussion.
  • Respect thread branching - create new branches for diverging topics.
Image Rules
  • Maximum file size: 5MB
  • Supported formats: PNG, JPG, WebP
  • No illegal or explicit content
  • No gore or disturbing imagery
  • Images should be relevant to the discussion
  • One image per post/comment
Privacy & Identity
  • Tripcodes are optional but recommended for consistent identity
  • Respect anonymity - do not demand or pressure users to identify themselves
  • Do not share private communications without consent
Moderation
  • Moderator decisions are final but can be appealed on /meta
  • Ban evasion will result in permanent exclusion
  • Report rule violations instead of engaging with rule breakers
  • Moderators may remove content without notice if it violates rules
  • Repeated minor violations will be treated as a major violation

  • These rules are enforced to maintain the quality and integrity of discussions.
  • Discuo focuses on meaningful conversation and natural thread evolution.
  • Our moderation approach is minimal but firm - we intervene only when necessary.
  • Rules may be updated as needed to address new challenges or improve the platform.
