||Are there any specific reasons why the site isn't open-source? I see the site makes an effort to respect the privacy of users and many times those go together.
I've seen reasonable arguments for people deciding not to go open-source, but I think it does raise the question what's preventing this site from becoming the next reddit if it gets enough traction?

||For me so far it's like and interesting middle point between 4chan and reddit so far.
I don't think the issue with 4chan is the images, but actually the community it has cultivated. I'm actually really excited about an image-board site that is SFW, well moderated and aimed towards good discussions. I think it could foster many of the benefits without as much toxicity

||Agreed, I still find interesting discussion on 4chan from time to time, but its drowned out by the absolutely massive amount of shitposting, trolling, and other forms of attention-seeking. I truly hope this place takes off.
