Why does this site use such a small font?

I'm on a retina display that's not farther than 30cm from my eyes, and I still have a hard time reading the content in this site. I wish websites used bigger font size on average.

While I agree 100% with the sentiment, I think the small font it's just a stylistic choice that some people prefer in minimal themes.

It did bother me when I first entered the site, because I like having giant fonts whenever possible, but at this point I'm used to just manually increasing the zoom myself on most sites. I have it set at 150% and nothing looks broken so far.

I don't enjoy squinting either. I used a browser extension (Stylebot) to override the font-size.

+1 for a larger font or a button to change font size. Text is difficult to read on mobile.
