UI feedback

Hello!

UI/UX/frontend developer with decades of experience here :)

Found the site from HN, looks interesting enough to give a try, thanks for shipping something privacy friendly!

Some minor points from (trying) to use the site:

- Spacing in the thread/tree view of comments have to be adjusted somewhat, as sometimes the grouping floats together and it looks like things that don't belong together, belong together. For example, when there is two top-level comments with the first one having one reply, at a glance it looks like the second top-level comment is quoting the reply to the first top-level comment, instead of a reply. Increasing the margin between the top-level comments might fix this, or decrease the other margins, or add some other type of visual divider

- The "Add comment" widget has very inconsistent spacing and looks very visually messy. Try to divide it all up into even grid, then split that grid up more and fit elements into that, and some sort of hierarchy

- More of a UX complaint rather than UI/visual - Having to verify that I'm a human for every single comment gets tiresome quickly, especially because the Cloudflare captcha can be a huge bitch sometimes. Maybe investigate if it's possible you can at least add a 10 minute cache or something, so I don't have to spend 3 minutes completing a captcha just to post a comment I spent 30 seconds writing

Besides that, I really love the lightweight feature-set and look! The web desperately needs more spaces where people can talk about topics they normally aren't exposed to, here's to hoping this might be the place for that in the future!

I'll just this thread to add whatever I came across, hope no one minds :)

- When I'm inside a category/post and the header changes from the site title to the category name (like now it says "/feedb" for example), I'd expect to be sent to the category list view when I click on it, not the main homepage. I'm sure I'm not alone in this :)

It'd also be cool if we could tick a box for temporarily saving the tripcode (locally only of course) so we don't also have to fill that out every time. Although I understand that comes with security/drawbacks so not as obvious this has to be implemented.

To add to the cloudflare point. I've had some issues with it that prevent me from posting at random times through the day. I already contacted the developer about that, but something else I've discovered while accessing on mobile:

As soon as you enter any post on mobile, cloudflare starts loading/checking if you're a robot, even if youre just checking soemthing and not necessarily going to post. Which on mobile halts all actions until it finished loading.

It's just a couple seconds, but if you enter a thread accidentally and want to quickly return, you can't until it finished.

Similarly if you take too long typing a reply, the captcha expires and automatically starts loading again. Which delays the text input and scrambles your words. So you either stop typing until it finishes loading or have to return an crect typos.

Perhaps it could appear only the moment you click the "post" button to avid this

Also noticed that the tripcode has autocomplete for previous values. Maybe this is on purpose, but since there is no functionality to save them locally, I'm guessing it's not on purpose. You can set `autocomplete="off"` to turn this off, even more privacy \o/
