Brazil is spiraling out of control and there seems to be no solution for it.

Since President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (Lula) returned to power in 2023 (rigged elections), Brazil has faced escalating crises, including censorship, rising crime, corruption, and economic instability.

Lula’s administration has engaged in "lawfare," targeting political opponents like former President Jair Bolsonaro (which was the best president Brazil has had for a long, long time) and Congressman Daniel Silveira, who was imprisoned for criticizing the Supreme Court.

Over 1,500 people were arrested following the January 8, 2023, protests, which were mainly peaceful demonstrations against the many obvious electoral frauds. The government has expanded censorship, introduced controversial laws to regulate online speech, and struggled to address organized crime and economic challenges. Lula’s Workers’ Party (PT) faces ongoing corruption and its ties to the Foro de São Paulo raise concerns about socialist influences. Brazil remains deeply polarized, with fears of democratic backsliding and authoritarianism as the 2026 elections approach.

We're fucked and it seems like there's no way out. The president is a corrupt bastard, the supreme court is overtaken with corrupt judges with OBVIOUS ties with drug cartels and there's no one to turn to. The dollar is skyrocketing and inflation is on the rise. Investors are leaving and the future looks pretty grim for us. I've always been an optimistic person but the last few years have taken that away from me.

Got any actual evidence for this, or is more of the same rumors/lies as before?

Actually Brazilian, so Brazilian sources preferred.

Sure thing. Here are a few examples.
1- 1. STF Orders Release of 15 Members of a Drug Trafficking Gang in Campinas
https://g1.globo.com/sp/campinas-regiao/noticia/2024/11/19/stf-manda-soltar-15-integrantes-de-quadrilha-que-opera-trafico-de-drogas-em-galerias-de-campinas.ghtml
2- STJ Grants 18,000 Habeas Corpus in 2024, Half Related to Drug Trafficking
https://www.blogdobg.com.br/ministros-do-stj-concedem-18-mil-habeas-corpus-em-2024-metade-envolve-crime-de-trafico-de-drogas/
3- STF Restricts Use of Helicopters in Police Operations
https://oglobo.globo.com/rio/maioria-do-stf-restringe-uso-de-helicoptero-em-operacoes-no-rio-24591125
4- STF Releases Traffickers Due to Procedural Irregularities
https://www.estadao.com.br/brasil/stf-manda-soltar-traficantes-por-irregularidades-processuais/
5- STF Criticized for Favorable Decisions Toward Traffickers
https://veja.abril.com.br/brasil/criticas-ao-stf-por-decisoes-favoraveis-a-traficantes/

And the most obvious of them all..

6- Case Summary: Return of Property to André do Rap
Decision: The STJ (Superior Court of Justice) ruled in favor of returning assets, including a helicopter, a luxury yacht, and a mansion, to André do Rap, a high-ranking PCC leader involved in international drug trafficking. The decision was based on "procedural irregularities".

Assets Returned:
A helicopter valued at R$7 million (previously used by the government for organ transport).
A luxury yacht worth R$6 million.
A mansion in Angra dos Reis, Rio de Janeiro 1711.

these are the ones I found doing a quick search. STF is clearly on the cartel side and NOT on people's side.

Don't know if it makes you feel better, or worse, but this kind of thing is happening everywhere. It's a global phenomena, and it all has the same root cause.

Staggering wealth inequality

Thank you. The amount of people who don't realize that the rich is fucking the rest of us over, while trying to get a race-war going is absolutely crazy. How are people so blind?

People know things "used to be better", and are so fed up they are gravitating towards radical sides of the political spectrum. However, none of the radical parties taking over (left nor right) have a platform on addressing wealth inequality. They will either get voted out when things dont get better... or more likely they will remain in power and convince the public that they didn't go "far enough" and we will continue to see more draconian polices.

Of course these policies will just make everything worse because they wont address the real issue

That's not the root cause in Brazil. Brazil has been haunted by communist fucktards for a long time (search for foro de são paulo). They have finally infiltrated every level of government up to the supreme court.

Truth is we were far better off as a dictatorship as was China. To be a democratic country first you need to change the culture and educate the population. We brazilians only care about sex, alcohol, football and false morality. We do not have the cultural traits to be a democracy. That's why the people idolize politicians while not being able to discern what is truth or not.
