You niggas should advertise. A lot of people are looking for an alternative to the shitty mainstream sites out there and 4chan is aids to use. big up to the guy who made it much appreciated. you should set up a tip jar or something so people can donate.

Well, I think we are already enough. I answer myself and try to settle around being 5 different anonymousess. I always have to agree with me in the end and would like to keep it that way...

Otherwise, there is also 8chan. And the local newspaper. Let's keep our nice site here without trolls..

Jokes aside, one minor concern I have is that advertising directly in a place like 4chan or any big defined community could "overwrite" what we have. Either by overwhelming current users or moderation, trying to make discuo more like the site that community comes from.

If that were the case, perhaps the best strategy would be to at first rely in a more strategic approach to advertising.
Word of mouth, promoting it in niche communities or ones with similar goals to discuo, targeted advertisement emphasizing it's goals and philosophy

Once certain size of core community is achieved it would be less likely an outside group can just bore everyone out of the site

It grows organically and that better. Was with 9gag same, same. And with.. ah, forgot it already. Got to big too fast, like your mother.

4chan but moderated, i can see a point, especially for anonymous stuff people don't want to post to their main socials, it will have the same problem as 4chan though, fake stories, reddit has the benefit of the doubt allowing armchair detectives to go through post histories, but sites like this and 4chan you are better off to assume all anon posts claiming something extraordinary are fake.
