Does TikTok make you rich?

I just spent 3 hours on TikTok, and now I have a new dance, a business plan, and a pancake recipe. If TikTok isn’t the future, I don’t know what is!

I know what it is. It's trash.

Assuming that every video you watch is one minute (some would be more and some less), you would watch at least 180 unique videos in three hours. Learning only three things from 180 videos does not seem like an efficient use of time.

It’s funny that you’re doing math on my time when you just spent 10 minutes commenting on what I did. Maybe you should spend three hours on TikTok too.

A per video metric seems pointless. Especially if every video is 1 minute long

I'm an avid TikTok hater myself, but learning a new dance, a new recipe and coming up with a business plan seems like a nice accomplishment for 3 hours

You hate TikTok, I dance to it, but hey, opposites attract, right? I'm sure that with a few videos, I'll make you dance too... you'll see, it quickly becomes addictive!

(Original commenter here) I agree that it is good to learn three things in three hours, but I don't think it is efficient to learn three things out of over 180 videos. It really depends if it was 60 videos on business, 60 on a dance, and 60 on pancakes. If it is only three videos remembered from 180 samples, then it is a bad use of time.
