what scenario do you envision where IDF action against Turkiye leads to US/NATO intervention on behalf of Turkiye against Israel?

||Well, the scenario you put is "IDF action against Turkiye" so it would be at that point I expect a NATO intervention, with or without the US.

||indeed. however, if these actions are restricted to the disputed syrian zone, i highly doubt turkiye will find nato backing for problems outside the NATO periphery. turkiye isnt the US, and even the US looks the other way when it gets some of its guys blown up in the badlands policing the figurative barbarians.

||Yeah, if we're just talking about stuff happening in Syria, unlikely NATO will get pulled in.
But if Israel decides to fuck with Turkey and their sovereignty, like they're doing with Lebanon, then NATO will be pulled in. US would most likely protest, but in the end choose NATO as Israel is nothing without US-backing and the US also gets very lonely without NATO and loses control of vital positions.
